Title V, Dept. of Aging, SER Jobs for Progress

Title V provides and promotes useful part-time employment/training opportunities in subsidized community service agencies for older workers who have limited employment prospects and assists with the transition of individuals to private and non-profit job placements in the community. The program provides a variety of supportive services to the individual such as personal and job-related counseling, job training, and job referral.

Individuals who participate in the program must be residents of California, be at least 55 years of age, and have an income that does not exceed 125 percent of the poverty level.

Customized Courses and Training in myriad of occupational sectors, Work place English, and AA degrees

State of California Department of Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation services are designed to get Californians with disabilities prepared for employment and can include training, transportation and job placement.

State of California Employment Development Department (EDD)

Unemployment Insurance Information and Services, Dislocated Worker Orientation and Assistance, Trade Adjustment Act Program Services, Cal Jobs Postings and Job Search Engine.

Valley Economic Development Centers

The Valley Economic Development Center, Inc. (VEDC), based in the San Fernando Valley serving the San Fernando Valley, greater Los Angeles Region, and Ventura, a non-profit corporation which offers training, consulting, technical assistance and financing to small and medium-sized businesses. Has a Community Credit Union, VEDC has over 26 years experience and a superb track record of providing business services throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.

Youth Opportunities Program

Youth Opportunities Program for teens ages 14 to 21 is to provide our youth with opportunities to acquire educational, occupational and life skills that will transition them into adulthood and into employment in the career path of their choosing.
